Phase 3 Reopening Set to Begin in Westchester
WHITE PLAINS, NY -- On Tuesday, June 23, Westchester entered Phase 3 reopening stage under Governor Andrew Cuomo’s NY Forward reopening plan, as we continue to recover from the COVID-19 epidemic. Businesses eligible to begin reopening in Phase 3 are:
Food services Personal care Food services include restaurants, food trucks and other food concessions, many of which had been eligible for takeout and outdoor dining services previously. The state has a number of mandatory guidelines and best practices outlined for restaurants that are reopening. These include: a limit of 50% maximum indoor patron capacity; separation of a minimum of six feet between tables or physical barriers erected between tables; employees must wear face coverings at all times; patrons must wear face coverings except when seated; and more. Similar guidelines, including capacity restrictions, distancing requirements and face covering requirements apply.
